Hold The Line
A downloadable gameplay prototype
Hold The Line is a Tower Defence gameplay prototype developed as my Final Major Project for my University degree.
Manage your units, give them formations and prepare for an assault of ever growing waves of enemies. Hold the line and keep your tower standing for as long as possible.
The game mechanics for this prototype are mostly tested and seemingly working, however such aspects as the income of gold, the higher level waves, balancing of different unit types, late game, are yet to be tested. Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance :)

the game plays well, you should add a tutorial level as well as your how to play screen,i think making the camera rotate like your main menu would work better,
great work

Thanks, Seb!
So the original design was to have the player be able to fly the camera around the level, very similar to how you navigate the scene view in unity, but in implementing this, I had an issue that sometimes after moving the camera, the raycast used to select an object would not shoot correctly. Initially changing to the multi camera system was going to be a temporary fix that allowed me to progress with other areas of development, but at some point I just decided to stick with it. I do intend to go back and look into getting that working or your idea of a smooth rotation around the castle is a great possibility! Also a tutorial level is definitely something I expect to do in future development!
I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions,
Josh
